Men are on Mars!

At a cost of $420-million, the Phoenix Mars Lander has flown 422-million-miles since leaving Earth last August.

Do you think this is the best use of our tax dollars? I sure am glad I paid my taxes on time so we could pay for that trip…

What are we going to find there? And does anybody really care?

Didn’t John Gray already tell us that ‘men’ are from mars? The women in this world are not going to be happy if we start bringing back a whole bunch more men to this planet… :P

What do you think? Is it really necessary to be spending all this money exploring other planets for life?

Oh, come on… it’s only $1 million bucks per mile.

And I thought my vehicle got bad gas mileage… :)

Yea I know…I think it still costs somewhere around $1 million dollars a mile to build a highway. We should have just built a highway and then we could all go see the rocks. Maybe there is even a geocache there. :) Of course at $4.00 a gallon for gas at 10 miles per gallon it would cost us somewhere in the neighborhood of $168,800,000.00 to get there, and then we would have to strike oil on mars to get back. And we know the government isn’t going to put up any refineries of its own, don’t we… :P
